For the Cerebras x Cline Hackathon, we built FlickAI, an intelligent desktop AI assistant that lives on your system and sees what you see. Instead of switching tabs or copying text into a browser, FlickAI wakes up instantly, looks at your screen, and helps you debug code, write emails, summarise notes, draft replies, and handle whatever you are working on in the moment.
The idea was simple: an assistant should feel like a quiet companion, not another chatbot.
FlickAI was built in 24 hours as a desktop assistant that:
- Sees what is on your screen
- Wakes up instantly
- Helps with coding, emails, notes, summaries, and replies
- Works where you are already working
Huge thanks to Cerebras and Cline for hosting the hackathon and supporting builders. We also received the Cerebras Pro plan, so more experiments are coming soon.
